The grandkids slept over for the weekend. Today they wanted to go to the creek. I was wanting to do something else. Then I got to thinking, there really aren’t going to be many more days to swim, so we went.
I am so glad we did. Had one of the nicest days there of the summer.
The place was empty when we got there. Peaceful, quiet. Water is still warm. Air was hot. Perfect!
Luke caught a big tadpole, some fish in his net. Baby crayfish, snails. He was thrilled!
Nora caught some fish too.
Nora brought her snorkel and mask for the first time this season. I want one for next year!
We would walk up stream then tube or swim down stream. Nora would snorkel some of the trips.
Funny as hot out as it was there was still something in the air that was saying Autumn!
