More Summer Heat

This heat wave just keep going. And Going…. I know it won’t be long before we complain about the cold, but I TRULY prefer cold to hot.

The flies continue to be horrible. Fly spray doesn’t even seem to help the horses. Poor little Rio seems to be allergic. So today he got a cool shower with medicated shampoo. Though he didn’t think he liked it at first, he came to realize just how good it felt, relaxed, was a good boy while the kids bathed him. He really is a good natured pony.
